The ride today has been one of the best rides of the whole R4RD journey. I climbed more than 9,500 feet over Guardsman Pass (a very tall, steep, mountain road), one of the most beautiful rides so far, and then I sped down the other side. It was exhilarating. Then, I had another 70 miles to go over rolling hills and plains, until I completed the 100 miles into Duchesne, Utah. My favorite part was to see the drastic change in landscape from mountain forests to rolling grassland to rocky desert. As good as the ride was, the ice bath afterwards when we arrived at the hotel felt even better. I am so excited to continue on through to Dinosaurland!
